Hub Proxy Allow Path-Based Routing¶

Description: When true, the Hub proxy also routes to sites by path (/sites//) in addition to subdomain. Subdomain routing (the default) is strongly recommended: each site gets its own browser origin, isolating cookies and preventing a compromised site from reaching others via the browser. Path-based shares the Hub's origin and loses that isolation; it is provided for deployments that cannot set up per-site wildcard DNS and a wildcard TLS cert. The choice, and its risk, is the operator's.
