Channels

A QIE channel represents an interface between two (or more) systems and contains the entire configuration for managing the flow of data between the systems. A channel always has one (and only one) source node and at least one destination node. A channel typically also contains one or more mapping and/or condition nodes. Condition nodes manage message routing and mapping nodes manage data manipulations.

QIE tracks the revision history of changes made to each channel and its nodes. Click the history icon on the channel panel menu bar (or next to the Description field of a source, condition, mapping, or destination node) to view who changed what and when. See Revision History for details.
