message.addStringToJSON¶

Signature: message.addStringToJSON(nodePath, childNode, value)

Returns: void

Add the specified childNode to the first node that matches nodePath.

Note

This method only applies to JSON-formatted messages.

Parameters¶

String	nodePath	the node path (XPath, HPath, Column ID, etc.)
String	childNode	the name of the child node to add
String	value	the value of the child node to add

message = qie.createJSONMessage(
    JSON.stringify(

);

// Add a string child node at the root
message.addStringToJSON(
    "/",        // nodePath where the child node will be inserted
    "nickname", // name of the child node
    "Dave"      // value of the child node.
);
