QIE 4.0.48 adds Comprehensive DICOM Support

Building on the momentum of the release of QIE 4.0 earlier this year, we are pleased to announce the release of QIE version 4.0.48. This release adds comprehensive support for DICOM to QIE, including the ability to:

  1. Connect directly to PACS systems and imaging devices with support for all composite and normalized DICOM message services
  2. Edit DICOM messages to enable modality work-list communication
  3. Extract & include DICOM data in other formats such as HL7® or FHIR®
  4. Secure existing DICOM communications with TLS secure sockets
  5. Convert DICOM to JPEG for preview or inclusion in other formats
  6. Use lookup-dialog for DICOM Tags, SOP Classes & Transfer Syntaxes

In addition to adding DICOM to QIE, this release also include the following:

  • HAPI FHIR integration for simplified FHIR interface development & deployment
  • Enhanced support for Kubernetes and Docker container cluster environments
  • Plus dozens of other enhancements and bug fixes
