New QIE Version Released with Auto-Update Capabilities
KAYSVILLE, Utah, May 6, 2013 – Qvera is excited to announce the release of the latest version of the Qvera Interface Engine (QIE). This significant release includes, among other things, a new auto-update capability. Local QIE installations will now be able to stay updated automatically without customer intervention.
“This is vitally important, especially for our Immunization and CCD Exchange Package customers who rely on Qvera for maintenance and updates to keep current with changes to Registries and Health Information Exchange (HIE) networks.” says Gary Meyer, Director of Customer Support for Qvera. “In today’s fast-paced healthcare environment, requirements and standards are constantly changing. Having the ability to push updates out to thousands of customers in a very timely manner will enable us to react quickly to changing requirements and exceed customer expectations”.
This new QIE release will be rolled out to all existing Qvera customers over the next few months. Once installed, customers will be able to configure how and when QIE updates are applied to their installation. They can choose to just be notified when updates are available, or they can choose to let QIE fully automate the process of downloading and applying updates based on a schedule they specify.
