Yes, QIE runs very well on Linux!

We have successfully configured the Qvera Interface Engine to run on SUSE, Red Hat, Debian and Ubuntu Linux installations. Any system that can run the latest Java JRE can also run QIE. It has even been installed on a $35 Raspberry Pi device.

It can be easily installed and configured on a Linux system by following the simple steps outlined in the README.txt that is included with the Linux distribution.

I was able to get this installed and running on a MacBook Pro for development purposes.
