CI/CD for .XML Channels

Is there a way to automate the importing of .XML channles? We are looking into automating deployments using Circle CI. When an update or a new channel .XML gets added to the gitHub repo we would love to have that automatically deployed on our environment.

We have added a Managment API interface in .48 and higher versions. This can be used to start, stop, import, export channels from a Webservice Call or API. This can be found under system configuration in the top right corner. There is a link to the guide in that screen as well.
