QIE 24.3.1 brings high availability to MySQL 8

QIE 24.3.1 is available. This is an operations release, concentrated on running QIE in a cluster.

High availability on MySQL 8

Clustered configurations no longer depend on the MEMORY storage engine, which MySQL 8 does not support, so a site standardised on current MySQL can run an HA cluster.

Queue counts reported once per cluster

Queue depth is reported once rather than once per node, and the repeated database updates behind it were removed, so dashboards read correctly and the database carries less load.

Channel log export from a cluster

Exporting a channel log no longer fails in an HA environment, so support staff can pull logs the same way from clustered and single-node sites.

DICOM de-identification across sequences

De-identifying an instance now processes nested sequences instead of failing, so identifiers held inside sequence items are actually removed.

Node tags in FTP and socket hosts

Host names and FTP parameters can be driven from system variables and node tags, so one channel configuration can move from test to production without editing endpoints.
