QIE 23.2.1 adds DICOM wildcard AE titles and IP filtering

QIE 23.2.1 is available. Imaging scale and connection-level access control are the themes.

Wildcard local AE title

A DICOM channel can accept any called AE title through a wildcard rather than needing an explicit entry per modality, which removes most of the configuration work when many devices point at one engine.

Pixel data stripped before processing

Large studies arriving over DIMSE can have their pixel data removed before message processing, so channels handle the metadata without carrying image bytes through every node.

IP filtering on Socket and HTTP receivers

Receivers can restrict which source addresses may connect, giving security teams an application-enforced allowlist they can evidence independently of the network firewall.

NDJSON batch files

The JSON receiver accepts newline-delimited JSON and processes each record, the format bulk data exports arrive in.

Alerts through a global script

Every alert can be routed through one script, so routing, suppression or forwarding to a paging system is configured in a single place.
