There are 2 ways to handle multiple databases:
1. Separate zone for each database: In this approach you would create separate QIE zones for each database (e.g. CPS – DB 1, CPS – DB 2, etc.) and then setup or import the interface in each zone (if importing, you should override the default zone and select the separately created zones each time you import). This results in separate and distinct interface configurations for each database, each residing in its own zone.
2. Separate channels within a single zone for each database: In this approach you would copy (‘Save As’) the an interface and either prefix or suffix the channel name with the corresponding database but keep all interfaces in a single zone. This approach would also require that you duplicate any web service connections or database connections for each database as well within the same zone and then configure each channel to use the appropriate connections.
