Why am I getting a "modified by another user" error when importing?

After creating a copy of my zone (by importing to a second zone) for testing, I wanted to import those changes back into the original zone.  I had created copies of some variables and channels for my test.

To import the changes, I changed the Zone column from "CEMR2/Qvera Zone" to "CEMR/QVERA Zone", selected all the variables and then clicked import.  I then received the following error:

The record has been modified by another user. Please reload the record and try again.

Details: Row was updated or deleted by another transaction (or unsaved-value mapping was incorrect)

The cause of this issue is that two items were updating the same item.  So, in this case, both cdaDocElements and cdaDocElements_old were both trying to update the cdaDocElements item in the CEMR/Qvera Zone.

To avoid this issue, enter a new name for the second item.

If you have hit this issue, you may need to refresh your browser before you can import again.
