If you have multiple Locations of Care and if your registry is expecting different Assigning Authority ID’s or OID numbers (an OID number are unique number that identifies your organization) to be used in the CCD/CDA and the different web service calls then you should enter the unique Assigning Authority ID’s into the “Custom-LOC-IDs” table under the System Variables. The LOC column is the abbreviated LOC name as entered in Centricity. If the registry does not assign each location a different Document Source ID then the Assigning Authority ID can be duplicated in the Document Source ID column.

In addition the “defalutAssigningAuthorityId” and “defaultDocuemntSourceId” channel cache variables should be set to the parent LOC Assigning Authority ID. This is required and will be used as a default for all locations of care that have not been entered in the Facility-LOC-Code table.

Note: Even though you may have multiple LOC in Centricity the registry may not require separate Assigning Authority ID’s for all of your LOC. In this case then the Custom-LOC-IDs table should be left blank and one Assigning Authority ID should be entered in the “defalutAssigningAuthorityId” and “defaultDocuemntSourceId” channel cache variables.
