Dedicated Server Not required

Processors 2-4 cores

System RAM 2.0 – 4.0 GB

QIE RAM 1.0 - 2.0 GB

Hard Disk 20.0 - 50.0 GB

Virtualization Supported

Medium Deployment  5-10 channels  < 50,000 messages/day  and < 500 CCD/CDA's per day

Dedicated Server Not required

Processors 4–6 cores

System RAM  4.0 - 8.0 GB

QIE RAM 2.0 - 4.0 GB

Hard Disk 50.0 - 100.0 GB

Virtualization Supported

Large Deployment  10-50 channels  < 500K message/day and < 5,000 CCD/CDA's per day

Dedicated Server Recommended

Processors  6-12 cores

System RAM 8.0 - 16.0 GB

QIE RAM 4.0 - 8.0 GB

Hard Disk 100.0 - 500.0 GB

Virtualization Supported

Enterprise  50+ channels  > 500K messages/day and > 5,000 CCD/CDA's per day

Dedicated Server Strongly Recommended

Processors  12+ cores

System RAM 16.0+ GB

QIE RAM 8.0+ GB

Hard Disk  500.0+ GB

Virtualization Supported

QIE is a multi-threaded enterprise application which can take full advantage of all available CPU cores.

*64-bit JVM is recommended which requires a minimum of 2 cores, but QIE will work on a single core and 32-bit JVM.

Allocating more than 1.2 GB of RAM to QIE requires a 64-bit JVM

Hard disk requirements will vary depending on message volume and retention policy, recommendation is based on 14-day retention.

QIE has been tested in VMware’s ESX Server and Workstation environments on both Windows and Linux guest systems
