How to create log4j logging file with custom logs?

Question

I tried with given approach ,still i am unable to change default location(C:\ProgramData\QIEStd\logs) of QIE log file to some other location.

Here i am sharing my configuration :

and java option i added as follows: 

please help me to generate a logging file with custom logs messages?

You need to put the java option on the startup tab.

Also on the file, I believe you are wanting to change the directory where they are stored. The current change only changes the name of the files.
