QIE supports all versions of FHIR, both XML and JSON. Qvera has been involved with the shaping of FHIR since 2015 DSTU2. We have employees that attend each FHIR Connectathon and actively participate in the FHIR specification development process, including serving as a co-chair of the FHIR methodology working group at HL7. Qvera has also participated as an active member of the Argonaut Project working on exchanging patient data and OAUTH two-step authorization.
FHIR uses REST-based Web Service calls that transmit and receive JSON and XML formatted messages. The Qvera Interface Engine is a great tool for supporting each of these protocols and much more.
QIE is not bound to a specific version since it does not enforce data content rules. Flexibility is power.
