Yes, Under System Administration select Manage Users. Here you can create a new user select which channels to allow them to view etc. If "System Admisistrator" is selected, unselect it. After setting up HPotter to be view only, when Hpotter logs in he can only view the channels highlighted below. He can search and view messages. He can also see the channel node editor but he will not be able select nodes in the channel an view the source code or change how nodes are mapped. If he casts the "Alohomoreqvera" spell, all beats are off as far as what he can view.
