QIE 26.2.1 broadens high availability and ships a software bill of materials

QIE 26.2.1 is available.

High availability without memory-optimized tables

An HA cluster no longer requires memory-optimized tables in the database, removing a configuration prerequisite that kept some sites from deploying HA at all.

A software bill of materials in every build

Each build ships a machine-readable inventory of its third-party components inside the war file, which a hospital security team can feed straight into vulnerability review.

Shared cache persisted to the database

Values in the shared cache can be stored in the QIE database rather than only in memory, so cross-channel lookup data survives a restart.

An encrypted database password

The password supplied as a Java startup option can be stored encrypted, removing a plain-text credential from service scripts and process listings.

Credentials masked in logs

FTP and SFTP passwords, key passphrases, basic authentication and bearer tokens are hidden in connection tests, channel status logs and web service request logs, so secrets do not travel out in an exported log or a support ticket.

Recursive folder pickup

File, Network Share and FTP sources can collect files from subfolders, with the originating directory available to mapping logic.
