QIE 25.2.1 introduces the AI Companion
QIE 25.2.1 is available, and brings the AI Companion into the product.
The AI Companion
An assistant built into QIE that knows QIE. It generates scripts against QIE’s own bindings, explains an existing script, and reads QIE’s log output and error queues, across every message model QIE supports.
AI web service connections
A dedicated connection type lets channels call a model the same way they call any other web service, configured once and reused from mapping and destination nodes.
A Hibernate 6 platform refresh
The data layer moves from Hibernate 5.6 to 6.6 alongside Spring 6.2, Spring Security 6.4, Jetty 12 and Camel 4.11, putting QIE on an actively patched stack.
FHIR R4B in the code wizard
The HAPI R4B context is available when building FHIR mappings.
Configurable console security headers
Administrators can add their own HTTP security headers to the console, so web hardening standards can be met without a proxy in front of QIE.
Node tags in the DICOM storage path
Split-out pixel data can be routed per facility, modality or date rather than into one fixed directory.
Published retroactively in September 2026 to complete the release archive. QIE 25.2.1 shipped on 21 May 2025.
