There are 5 basic items that need to be configured after importing the IIS Registry export package.

1.     The Endpoints need to be configured for the individual site.

·         The first one is the Source path. This is found on the Directory Configuration tab from within the Green Source Node found on the visual channel editor. This path should reflect where QIE will be getting the source message from Centricity.

·         The second one is the destination path. This is found on the path field from within the Purple Destination Node found on the visual channel editor. This path should reflect how QIE will communicate the VXU message to the registry. Note: if you do not have the information to connect to the registry at the time of setup then a local path to the QIE server can be setup for the VXU messages to be placed in for testing purposes until such time the registry endpoint is known.

2.     All of the channel cache value settings. These are found on the Channel Cache tab from within the Green Source Node found on the visual channel editor. These values control the format of the VXU message that will be sent to the IIS Registry. Each channel cache variable is self-documented on the channel cache tab.

3.     The database connection to Centricity

4.     The Web Service if VXU messages will be sent to the registry via a Web Service.

5.     The Custom-MLI-Code and Facility-LOC-Code tables found under the System Variables. These tables are also self-documented
