QIE 5.0.51 adds two-factor authentication and FHIR US Core validation

QIE 5.0.51 is available, with the largest set of changes in the 5.0 series.

Two-factor authentication

Console logins can require a second factor, bringing QIE into line with hospital multi-factor policy.

FHIR US Core profile validation

The HAPI plugin can validate FHIR resources against the US Core profile and generate narrative text.

Channel Queue receiver and sender

One channel can hand a message directly to another channel’s queue rather than looping back out over TCP or a file drop, removing a network hop from routing designs that previously needed one.

Custom script destinations

A destination can be written entirely in script, so a one-off or proprietary delivery mechanism no longer needs an external process.

Credentials in system variables

Endpoint credentials can live in a system variable instead of being repeated in each channel, making a password rotation a single edit.

A deeper DICOM toolset

A pop-out DICOM editor with search, DICOM responses logged and visible on the message detail panel, attribute-level export, and RLE support.
