If you have multiple Locations of Care and if your registry is expecting different Facility ID’s to be reported in MSH, PD1 or RXA segments for each Location of Care then you should enter the unique Facility ID’s into the Facility-LOC-Code table under the System Variables. The LOC column is the abbreviated LOC name as entered in Centricity.
In addition the “defalutFacilityId” channel cache variable should be set to the parent LOC facility id. This is required and will be used as a default for all locations of care that have not been entered in the Facility-LOC-Code table.
Note: Even though you may have multiple LOC in Centricity the registry may only assign one Facility ID for all of you LOC. In this case then the Facility-LOC-Code table should be left blank and the one Facility ID should be entered in the "defaultFacilityId" channel cache variable.
