There are 5 basic items that need to be configured after importing the CCD/CDA export package.

1.     The Source Endpoint needs to be configured to reflect where QIE will be getting the source message from Centricity from. This is found on the Directory Configuration tab from within the Green Source Node found on the visual channel editor.

2.     All of the channel cache value settings. These are found on the Channel Cache tab from within the Green Source Node found on the visual channel editor. These values control the format of the CCD/CDA message that will be sent to the HIE Registry. Each channel cache variable is self-documented on the channel cache tab.

3.     The database connection to Centricity

4.     The Custom-LOC-IDs tables found under the System Variables if unique Assigning Authority IDs will be required by the registry for each LOC. This table is also self-documented.

5.     The Web Services that will be used to connect to the registry. Once a URL for the Web Service is acquired from the HIE Registry then this URL can then be entered into the XDS-ProvideAndRegister Web Service on the Web Services section from the left navigation menu under the HIE Zone.

Note: If you do not see a Web Service option on the left hand navigation menu under the HIE Zone then Web Service will need to be enabled under the System Administration -> System Configuration area of QIE.
