How can we add patient identifying information to the syndromic surveillance data feeds?

Some states are asking patient identifying information to be added to the syndromic surveillance data feeds. These fields will allow the state to link lab data to these records and identify those patients admitted with laboratory-confirmed COVID-19

To include patinet identifiying information in the syndromic surveillance feed. Open QIE and navigate to the Synd Package Zone -> Channels -> synd-Washington channel -> Select the Green Source Node -> then select the channel cache -> then find the deIdentifyPatient channel cache and double click on it to open it. Then change the value to N. Then save and restart the channel.

Note: Setting the value to N will include the patient information despite the description stating the opposite. The next update to the package will have the descriptions corrected.
