License groups are set up in QIE to control what zones use what licenses. Below are the steps to set up a license group:
1. Help -> About QIE
2. Click on license Groups
3. Click on Insert and Enter a License Group Name:
4. Click on the License group on the left and select what licenses and zones go with that group.
There are 2 specific instances where you need license groups:
1. If you have a VBL or volume based license. In .44 and later this will automatically create the License Group. You just need to select what zones are included.
2. If you are hosting multiple customers on one instance of Qvera. You will have to create the license group and assign the zones as desired.
