Qvera suggests all Windows updates be completed as they come out since the majority are security updates. The only impact that QIE would have for updates is with Java. QIE is supported on Java 1.7 and Java 1.8. If QIE is running on an older version of Java, a 'Missing Build Dependencies' Admin Alert will appear when logging into QIE. This means that QIE cannot be updated until Java has been updated. See the article below in reference to the Admin Alert.
