Can QIE connect to a mapped drive or a UNC path?

Can I map a drive location (ie: Q:/ccd_in/*.xml) that QIE can access?

Or can I use a UNC path (ie: //1.2.3.4/ccd_in/*.xml) that QIE can access?

QIE can any UNC path that its Log On user can access.  You can set the Log On user within the QIE Service Manager under the Log On tab: 

 

QIE cannot access a mapped drive.

In some cases when setting the QIE Log On Account from the QIE Service Manager the change will not stick or take affect. In these cases the Log On User Account will need to be set under the Windows Services dialogue under the QIEService.
