Qvera participates in collaborative care vignette at HIMSS18 Interoperability Showcase

A major component of the upcoming HIMSS18 conference is the Interoperability Showcase — a unique space where health IT companies demonstrate current products collaboratively through a series of 16 unique healthcare storylines. The showcase gives stakeholders a deep look into the benefits of interoperability and the latest developments within the health IT community.

Interest in health data exchange continues to grow, and for good reason: Interoperability improves communication, data security, speed, and accuracy, leading to better patient care. We’re hopeful the showcase will draw even more spectators than last year’s hugely successful event.

This year, Qvera will help tell the story of a woman’s journey from breast cancer diagnosis to care and monitoring through several providers, including her gynecologist, imaging center, lab, and oncologist. We’ll demonstrate how our Interface Engine communicates with EMR and data provenance products from Cerner, Siemens, RAIN and GE using HL7® FHIR® and IHE standards for seamless data exchange and continuity of care.
