KAYSVILLE, Utah, October 31, 2011 – Qvera announced today that Thomas Landholt, MD, has been named medical director of the company. In this role Dr. Landholt will assist Qvera with strategic product planning and direction. His past experience includes similar roles at industry-leading healthcare IT companies such as MedicaLogic, GE, Kryptiq and MassPRO.
Dr. Landholt is an actively practicing, board-certified primary care physician in Springfield, Missouri. As a pioneer in clinical information technology (IT), he has used automated medical records and related IT systems since 1995.

KAYSVILLE, Utah, October 18, 2011 – WESTMED Medical Group has chosen to implement the Qvera Interface Engine (QIE) to enable health information exchange with hospitals and other healthcare organizations in their community. While QIE will enable WESTMED to easily manage all interfaces between their various healthcare IT systems, they are particularly interested in QIE's comprehensive support for managing the exchange of Continuity of Care Documents (CCD) as well as QIE's integration with regional and state immunization (IIS) registries.
07/22/2011 - QIE 1.0 Receives ONC-ATCB 2011/2012 Certification

The 2011/2012 criteria support the Stage 1 meaningful use measures required to qualify eligible providers and hospitals for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
