11/22/2010 - Announcing the New Qvera Interface Engine (QIE)

KAYSVILLE, Utah, November 22, 2010 – Qvera LLC is pleased to announce the upcoming release of the new Qvera Interface Engine (QIE). Over the past year, we have been hard at work porting the Kryptiq Interface Engine (KIE) from an outdated C++ Windows-based environment to a new state-of-the-art JAVA environment. This move from C++ to JAVA will greatly enhance the capabilities of the interface engine and take the product to a whole new level. Some of the features you can expect to see in the new Qvera Interface Engine are:

New OS-Independent Platform
Because the new Qvera Interface Engine is built on a JAVA platform, it can be installed and configured to run in almost any operating system environment including Windows, Linux, Unix, AIX, Mac OS, etc.

New User Security Framework
The new Qvera Interface Engine includes a user security framework which allows system administrators to control who has access and what they can do in the system.

New Browser-Based AJAX User Interface
The new Qvera Interface Engine Console runs entirely inside your browser so there is no additional client install required. Any machine connected to the network can access the Console. And, because it is built using an interactive AJAX framework, it looks and feels and responds just like a native desktop application.

New Logging and Tracking System
Every message that passes through the new Qvera Interface Engine will include a log file with detailed information about what happened at every step of the process. This new level of detailed information will greatly facilitate interface development, testing and management.

New Scripting Framework
The new Qvera Interface Engine includes a JavaScript scripting framework which significantly extends its capabilities. With QIE you are no longer limited to just a few pre-defined mapping functions. Virtually any mapping function or operation you can think of can be scripted. And, because the scripting engine is integrated at a very low level, almost all system operations can be customized using the scripting framework.

New Smart Editors
The new Qvera Interface Engine includes smart editors for editing HL7, XML, SQL, JavaScript, etc. These smart editors include syntax highlighting, automated syntax validation and many other advanced editing features which make editing in QIE a breeze.

The new Qvera Interface Engine is in the final stages of development. Beta testing is expected to begin by 12/31/2010 and general availability is expected before the end of the first quarter of 2011. For more information contact Qvera today.
